Privacy Policy

We collect two types of information:

• Information you provide: Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or sign up for merch updates, and any details you include when you contact us by email.
• Information collected automatically: Anonymized analytics data such as the pages you visit, time on site, approximate location, device type, browser, and referring URL. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics.

• To send newsletters, tournament updates, and team news you have opted in to receive.
• To respond to inquiries you send us directly.
• To understand how visitors use our site and to improve its content, performance, and usability.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information in an anonymized form. We do not use this information to personally identify any user.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

We rely on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
• Sanity — content management and newsletter subscriber storage.
• Mapbox — maps displayed on tournament and venue pages.
• OpenWeatherMap — weather data for tournament locations.

These providers may process data in countries outside of Canada, including the United States.

We retain newsletter subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention settings. We keep contact correspondence only as long as needed to address your inquiry.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Canadian users are protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). European users have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate.
